What You’ll Need
- 13g medium-ground Broken Road Coffee
- Pour over dripper (V60, Chemex, etc.)
- Paper filter
- Scale
- Kettle (93°C / 200°F)
- Coffee server & cup
Brewing Steps
- Rinse Filter
- Rinse the paper filter with hot water to remove papery taste and preheat your brewer.
- Add Coffee
- Add 13g of medium-ground coffee to the filter and level the bed.
- Bloom (0:00–0:30)
- Pour 30ml of hot water, fully saturating the grounds. Let bloom for 30 seconds.
- First Pour (0:30–1:00)
- Slowly pour in circles up to 100ml total, extracting sweetness and body.
- Second Pour (1:00–1:30)
- Pour more confidently up to 200ml total.
Finish
Give a gentle stir, let drain completely (around 2:10 total brew time), swirl, and enjoy.
